Great lunch specials. They give lots of salsa and chips. Love their cheese enchiladas...the best in Winston. Rice and beans are not as good as Poncho villas. Service is hit or miss. The owner or manager who runs the register is not very friendly.

Meh. My guest really wanted me to try this place out because they really loved it when they went the first time. They didn't have carnitas tacos so I went with carne asada. They bring out all the toppings and salsas in separate bowls, which I LOVED because food touching is a no-no in my book.
The tacos were bland. No flavor really unless you piled on sauces and even then it was mediocre. The service was slow with only four tables seated. There was also a homeless guy panhandling in their lobby which is probably when I should have turned around and left. I just can't bring myself to say this was an decent experience at all and I hate that. -

Our group stopped here to have lunch. First and last time eating here. The food and service was horrible. Ordered steak got chicken, ordered steak and got a bone the size of a quarter mixed in. Wasn't supposed to be there The ONLY thing that was good was the salsa. Had an 86 B sanitation grade. Should have noticed that first before we sat down and ordered. Do not recommend!!

My husband and I were on our way home and just hungry. It was late and we were in the mood for Mexican food. We drove around and found this place. First of all, we walked in about 40 minutes before closing. I ordered the steak and pork and my husband got the steak and shrimp. Our food was delicious and not dried out. The rice and beans were perfectly cooked and were actually our favorite part. They closed out our check as we were eating which was fine because it was closing time. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful.
I counted off 1 star because the man singing got so loud my husband and I couldn't even hear each other talking across the table from each other. I would recommend this place for authentic Mexican food.
